Ridding this country of the scourge of Section 28 is one of our proudest achievements as a Party – we now have a chance to go further and make sure all children receive comprehensive and inclusive sex and relationship education.

The current guidance is out of date and we need to ensure children are receiving the education they need to understand their identity and to form healthy and respectful relationships.   

Given the protests and mass lobbying by those who would seek to take away a child's right to a full education, it is time to take a stand and come out in favour of inclusive relationship and sex education.
